I have been looking for a good Thai restaurant since moving to FL from New England. We found Kan's Thai Kitchen while passing through Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant is very nice on the inside. The food was delicious. I especially love the Thai Ice Tea, and the Cashew Nut Chicken meal. I wish it was closer to my house, as I would frequent it if it was. As is, it is a great stop when we are in the area.

Very chill atmosphere right when you walk in. Seating is set up comfortably for the space. They use an everyone is available to your service style so im sure they pool tips as well. We ordered a few items such as Chicken Satay, Tom Yum Soup, Pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and Green Curry. Chicken Satay was delicious. It had its textural char but remained moist and flavorful. The pineapple fried rice was a must try with curry flavor with grilled pineapple shrimp and chicken. My wifes tom yum soup was great and the green curry was amazing. The curry was delicious with fresh ingredients, basil forward, texturally great not watery. Ordering level hot was just perfect to enjoy the punishment of spice while enjoying all of the other flavors. We had four different employees assist us with service. The only hiccup was right at the end of our meal when our items were packed to go we ordered coconut ice cream that took an eternity so we had to cancel it after 7/8 minutes to grab the check. Overall I would happily eat here again as the food and service are worth the price.

While leaving Aldi, we were hungry and my wife was looking for a place to enjoy a decent meal. She noticed Kan's which was nearby and has a high rating from other customers. Overall, we were not disappointed. We were not aware until we arrived that they accepted reservations, but were okay with seating us without a reservation. They had several tables already with customers, but there were plenty of tables available. Kan's is clean, and the employees are all busy attending to either a customer or some other needed task. Plus they're all friendly. This place appears to be well maintained. The items we ordered were fantastic. Very Tasty beef jerkey and a salad with spiced chicken to start were delicious. We followed that with the Pad Kra Prow holy basil stir fry with ground chicken and Jasmine rice was a very nice main dish compliment. We both agree we wished we requested more than the mild heat, but it was still very good. I highly recommend this small and cozy establishment which also has a fair pricing structure compared to others.

You can really tell this is a family-owned spot. The owner and the whole family are seriously the nicest people—super kind and they make you feel so welcome the second you walk in. ​The food is just on another level. The Duck Noodle Soup is my absolute favorite; the broth is so deep and flavorful. I ordered my fev dish, the Lao Papaya Salad and it has that perfect heat and traditional flavor that’s hard to find anywhere else. We also loved the Khao Soi and the Crispy Pork. Everything is 10/10 and made with so much care. Definitely support this business, they deserve it!

Excellent Thai cuisine - featuring northern Thai specialties like Khao Soi (with chicken leg, roasted duck or chicken breast). The entire menu including desserts (including sliced mango with coconut cream and sticky rice) is authentically prepared providing a depth and richness of flavors. The service is friendly - everyone smiles! So far we have been able to walk in with parties between 4 and 5 without a reservation but understandably it does seem to fill up after 7 pm. The atmosphere is comfortable and offers a range of seating options. Parking is free and convenient, as the establishment shares a small strip center with a Sub-way and Dunkin on either side. Our new go-to Thai establishment in Fort Lauderdale! Highly recommend.
